Event Terms / Christmas Lunch Terms

We are very pleased that you have chosen to dine at Café Oscar in Copenhagen. We want you to have the best possible experience, so please read the terms below before your visit.

Group reservations

We are particularly busy with parties and Christmas lunches. From Sunday through Wednesday, we are flexible about arrival times, which will be agreed when you make the reservation.

Thursday through Saturday can involve fixed time slots for larger parties. The exact time and any end time will be agreed when you make the reservation.

An evening arrangement without a fixed end time may be agreed separately, subject to availability.

Menu, drinks and dietary requirements

For larger parties, the menu should generally be the same for the whole group. We of course accommodate allergens, vegetarian requests and other dietary restrictions.

The final menu, dietary requirements and final number of guests must be provided to Café Oscar no later than 21 days before the event. For bookings made at shorter notice, please send the information as soon as possible.

Drinks can be ordered according to the agreed package or from our drinks menu. Welcome drinks, wine for the table, open bar or other drink arrangements can also be agreed in advance. Additional drinks may of course be ordered on the evening.

Payment

The bill must be paid together and cannot be split between guests.

For Christmas lunches and larger parties, Café Oscar may require a deposit. The deposit must be paid no later than 7 days after the reservation is confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept most commonly used payment cards. A card fee may apply to company cards and private payment cards issued outside the EU/EEA in accordance with applicable rules and the specific card type.

Cancellation and reduction in guest numbers

Once a binding booking has been made, the following terms apply to cancellation or reduction in guest numbers:

  • Up to 30 calendar days before the event: cancellation or reduction without charge.
  • 15-29 calendar days before the event: 25% of the price of the cancelled or reduced covers.
  • 7-14 calendar days before the event: 50%.
  • 1-6 calendar days before the event: 75%.
  • On the day of the event: 100%.
  • These deadlines and terms apply regardless of the reason for cancellation or reduction.

Binding booking

The booking becomes binding when a menu, arrangement or package has been selected based on an offer or Café Oscar’s website and Café Oscar subsequently confirms the reservation in writing.

Specific drinks, drink packages, open bar or other add-on services are also part of the binding booking once ordered.

If specific drinks have not been ordered at the time of cancellation or reduction, no payment is charged for drinks that have not yet been ordered.
